Hat-trick of wins for Cema Vending

Cema Vending, the Nottingham-based vending machine and workplace refreshment specialist, has secured three major contracts with businesses across the region.

Joining Cema Vending’s offer are Castle Donington-based Mi Hub (which has added to their existing support package), the specialist science academy NUAST and maintaining the education theme, Findel, which is based on the same trading estate as Cema Vending at Victoria Business Park.

All three businesses were seeking Covid-conscious solutions blended with the latest technology to support their changing refreshment needs, with Mi Hub adding infra-red operated water coolers for their existing vending contract, whilst NUAST were seeking a refreshment solution for their 6th form unit.

NUAST also selected biometric solutions for his or her fully branded Nescafe coffee solution, cold drinks and a food carousel, all of which are operated through the students’ fingerprints and linked back to their system so that purchases are deducted from students’ account balances.

Meanwhile, Findel has installed a temporary vending solution to replace their full canteen facility at their 400,000 sq ft distribution centre, that has seen reduced usage because of the lockdowns resulting in staff numbers on-site reducing.

Cema Vending’s General Manager, Ian Perry, said: “It has been a very encouraging start to the entire year, with a great many businesses now implementing intends to alter their catering facilities following the impact of Covid. For many, the pandemic has perhaps brought plans for any more flexible approach forward a few years and having solutions in place that don't require human resources is particularly important right now.”
